Melanie “MACH” Kluesner, flying the US Air Force F-35 Demo Team, will perform an amazing routine over the Athens Municipal Airport in Athens Texas. Watch as the F-35 performs a full array of combat maneuvers sure to please all! Joining Capt. Kluesner for the inspirational Heritage Flight will be Retired General Tommy Williams flying the beautiful “Bum Steer”. You won’t want to miss crowd favorite, Randy Ball, in his MiG 17 as he delights the crowd with full afterburner at twilight. Randy is the only jet demo pilot (military or civilian) that has been granted both day and night unlimited aerobatic rating in jet fighters by the FAA. Randy will be joined by Bill Culberson and Mike Terfehr in their MiG 17s performing precision formation.
